" corey Lewandowski case: Is there a chance he won’t be prosecuted? "- The Washington Post

contrast this with Hugh Halford accusing me of touching, or bumping, his elbow in the hallway at the Pasadena court (in fact he leaned into me as I bent down to pick up my things to try to make it appear as if there was contact) . Halford's false accusation is one thing. But also there was no injury. Even if that's not required for a "simple battery" charge, incidental contact is usually not basis for a charge of battery. Plus there was one witness who definitively said I did NOT touch, bump, or hit Halford, but he was never allowed to testify in my case (my defense attorney , steve boysaw, i realized later, wanted me to be convicted; i also saw him at a liquor store at noon buying beer during a work day, i was a student at the time so I acceptd a public defender thinking they were honest). Also, Halford had a motive for trying to get a conviction against me. He was the attorney representing my civil suit against Pasadena. If he could show I was a angry, violent person, he could use that in defense of the Pasadena police (who I was suing for excessive force). Ex post facto, I think all things clearly show that he was trying to frame me. He had motive. He had the opportunity. And, in fact, it was a frame job. That's my testimony. Also ask Mark Simpkins (the attorney who was not allowed to testify)
"...
Although several questioned the decision by police to file charges, most legal experts interviewed agreed that the available evidence more than amounted to probable cause to charge Lewandowski: The video evidence appears to support Fields's story, she documented the bruises she says she got during the incident, and she was actively cooperating with investigators."She made a formal complaint, so that..."

Rare case of a prosecutor's conscience getting the best of him: "Jack McCullough says he didn't commit Maria Ridulph cold case murder"

Very rare but, commendable, for a prosecutor to try to prove the innocence of a suspect or a convicted person . should happen more . the truth should prevail at all costs!

"...
"If I lose an election because I had some part in freeing someone from prison for a crime they did not commit, that's fine with me. The fact that it's taken me three years to do that might be a reason for people to say I should've acted faster, and I won't necessarily disagree with them."..."

1 PROBLEM w/ this GOOD CRC ARTICLE: "The Courage to Leave | The Network

Do u notice it is exclusively about women being abused by men? Fact is,women can be emotionally (& even sometimes physically) abusive of men too! [Or men can be abusive towards other men (or boys). (By the way, I think hugh halford was/is a member of the gay community and in the gay community there is even more of that dominance/submissive aspect. Don't get me wrong. I'm not gay,so I don't normally experience such behavior, but because of the civil litigation I commenced,I was forced to interact with hugh halford, despite asking the judge to order a new attorney for the city (which he declined, even aftet the big crime by halford against me) ]Even more so nowadays because the man is always suspected first, thus the woman can take advantage of always having the benefit of the doubt.[in the case of halford,he was very two-faced,an actor of the most nefarious sort, who put on one face for one context & another for a different context...he could quickly change his countenance, tone, demeanor, etc. It was sickeningly duplicitous.

(must read) FASCINATING: "The Courage to Leave" | The Network

BTW (by the way) I FELT I WAS RAPED (emotionally) by HUGH HALFORD (a pasadena city attorney) when I was in civil litigation against the Pasadena PD. He really took big advantage of me.very wrong & unfair of him. Not just unfair but criminal. Yes criminal. And even members of my own family sort of glossed it over, unfortunately.

"Unfortunately for believers who are abused, especially
women, leaving an abusive spouse can require almost
superhuman courage, as it must often be done with
little to no support from their brothers and sisters in
Christ, and often times hostile opposition from the
people who should be most supportive: their spiritual
leaders. In a vicious cycle author Jonathan
Hollingsworth calls "mob forgiveness" and "selective
grace," the church first bands together to minimize the
wrongs committed by the abuser, then lavishes him
with support, love, and forgiveness that they, who have
not been wronged, have no right to give.
Hollingsworth says, "By extending mercy to the
perpetrator when no one else will, the mob hopes to
prove to a watching world just how "edgy" and
"countercultural" Christian forgiveness is. The more
visible the forgiveness, the better the witness … Too
often, Christians mistake the transgressors, not the
transgressed, as the ones most in need of grace. This
is where grace goes too far. Not when it forgives the
unforgivable, but when it reaches so far in the
direction of the abuser that it leaves the victims
behind." In the end of this cycle, the victim is the one
framed as the greater sinner: hard-hearted, bitter, and
unforgiving, and faces the impossible choice of either
standing alone against abuse, or returning to abuse to
regain her "support" network...."
